The green channel (right side) is based on the cult-classic ODR-1: an overdrive with rich mids\u2014shaped in tandem with highs via its tone control\u2014and a distorted texture quite different from that of a Tube Screamer. With more balanced lows and a modified gain structure, the green channel of the Sirius works well in the mix with any guitar, staying tight and articulate.<\/p>\n

The blue channel is based on the Bluesbreaker V1, an overdrive often described as “transparent,” preserving the natural voicing of your guitar. Unlike the classic Marshall pedal, the blue channel offers plenty of volume and well-balanced highs\u2014enhancing your guitar\u2019s top frequencies without harshness and delivering a subtle, nuanced boost or drive.<\/p>\n

Combining both sides of the pedal unlocks an even wider range of tones, allowing for gain stacking to achieve high-gain textures or using the blue channel as a volume boost, making the Sirius a complete solution for all your overdrive needs in a single pedal.<\/p>\n
